Trails

The biking trails have an elevation difference of 310 meters and offer excellent views to the Lappish landscape. The national-level riders ride the demanding Wold Cup DH Black trail below 60 seconds. For freeriding, the Bike Park offers the Blue Groove trail that is suitable for all skill levels, and the the Santa's Cabin trail designed for more experienced riders. Known to offer the slope for the Alpine World Cup during the winter season, the World Cup DH Black trail offers  slopestyle action and demanding jumps and other elements even for the most seasoned rider.

Always remember to ride slowly during the first run to get to know the trail and check the landing areas of each drop.

BLUE GROOVE

TRAIL LENGTH: 3,3 km

DIFFICULTY: Blue Groove is perfectly suited for beginners. Due to the length of the route, it also offers an excellent warm-up trail for the more experienced riders.

DESCRIPTION: Freeride trail which begins at the upper station of the Gondola2000 cabin lift. The route offers various dirt and wood elements for you to try based on your skill level. When reaching the tree line, the route passes the Snow Park and continues through the forest following a serpentine trail towards the lower stations of the Lifts 13 and 14. The last part of Blue Groove consists hard and even trail with a couple of small wooden drop-offs for you to try.

SANTA'S CABIN

TRAIL LENGTH: approx. 3 km

DIFFICULTY: Difficulty level Red. Suitable for experienced riders and those looking for additional challenge. However, the trail still offers the option to ride past each of the more demanding elements.

DESCRIPTION: The trail begins from the upper station of the Gondola200 cabin lift. The trail's dirt and wood drop-offs are challenging enough for even the more experienced riders to have smiles on their faces and hearts racing on the first few runs. As with Blue Groove, the trail enters the forest at tree line. In the forest, similar dirt and wood elements continue with some occasional tight turns and drop-offs. Towards the end of the trail, Santa's Cabin merges with the World Cup DH Black trail where you can try some more extreme drop-offs and jumps before arriving at the lower station.

WORLD CUP DH BLACK

TRAIL LENGTH: 1,5 km. The elevation difference from the start of the trail to the lower station is 302 m.

DIFFICULTY: Only for the most experienced downhill riders!

DESCRIPTION: A perfect downhill trail in all its simplicity. The trail follows the route of the Gondola2000 cabin lift fairly directly. In addition to the sheer velocity on the trail, the steep profile of the slope offers additional challenge. World Cup DH Black consists of hard earth surface that has been worn by erosion, with some loose stones and rainwater grooves. Towards the end of the trail, there is a 2 to 3-meter high bridge and drop-off combination with some smaller jumps.

When reaching the tree line, the World Cup DH Black trail offers the possibility to take a transition route to the Santa's Cabin trail.

ENDURO ROUTE: CITY TRAIL

TRAIL LENGTH: 1.7 km

DIFFICULTY: Blue

ELEVATION DIFFERENCE: 219 meters

DESCRIPTION: The City Trail enduro route begins right next to the upper station of Lift 4. The route start is the easiest to access by taking the Gondola 2000 cabin lift up and then taking the transition route to Lift 4. The route includes built slopes as well as off-piste sections through the forest.

The route continues to the Front Slopes, moves across the routes of Lifts 3 and 2 and then descends the Front Slopes. The easiest way to get back to the upper station of the Gondola 2000 cabin lift is to take the Front Slopes' cabin lift Levi Express all the way up to Hotel Panorama and then following the transition route from the hotel back to Gondola 2000.

We recommend using full enduro protective gear on this route, including knee pads, chest armor, helmet, elbow pads and gloves.

Start: Lift 4

ENDURO ROUTE: DRAIVI

TRAIL LENGTH: 1.8 km

DIFFICULTY: Red

ELEVATION DIFFERENCE: 296 meters

The route meanders along the built slopes and outside the slopes. The route offers great views to the Ounasjoki River as well as the Levi Golf Course. The route ends at the lower station of Lift 6. To do it again, you can take the cycling route back to the lower station of the Gondola 2000.

We recommend using full enduro protective gear on this route, including knee pads, chest armor, helmet, elbow pads and gloves.

The South Route route ends just before the lower station of the South chairlift. The easiest way to get back to Gondola2000 is by following the mountain bike trail to the Gondola2000.

We recommend using full enduro protective gear on this route, including knee pads, chest armor, helmet, elbow pads and gloves.
